We started Lion Logistics because moving goods into the Maldives shouldn’t mean chasing brokers, agents and boats yourself. One team, one point of contact, every step owned — from a supplier’s loading dock to your island’s jetty.
Our story
A forwarder shaped by 1,190 islands
The Maldives is one of the most dispersed countries on earth — a thousand inhabited and resort islands spread across 20 atolls and 90,000 square kilometres of ocean. Standard freight playbooks fall apart here at the water’s edge.
So we built the opposite of a hand-off chain. Licensed customs brokers, a vetted network of landing craft and dhonis, bonded storage in Malé, and a coordinator who stays with your shipment until it lands where it’s needed. Air or sea, pallet or project cargo — the accountability never changes hands.
